Thank you for supporting the community programs of Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. The mission of Barrow's Prevention Department is to provide a wide range of programs to educate community leaders, public policy makers and individuals of all ages on how to prevent brain, spinal cord and other traumatic injuries.
Barrow’s community programs include: Fall Prevention, designed to reduce the incidence of falls, particularly in the older adult population; Helmet Your Head, advocating the use of helmets; Oliver Otter water safety program, teaching children and adults the importance of following water-safety rules; Stroke Prevention Program, offering informative presentations and educational materials to increase awareness of stroke; and ThinkFirst Arizona, a local chapter of the National Injury Prevention Foundation.
Your financial support will help Barrow staff and physicians continue reaching out to the community to keep them healthy and safe.
